This is How the Bluebook Makes Me Feel

Haiku to The Law School Library

Law School Library.
You urge me to blare Britney
In your stone silence.

This haiku brought to you by sleep deprivation.

Law School's Version of "Airplanes"

Can we pretend that Bluebook Citations are like shooting stars?
I could really use some sleep right now, sleep right now, sleep right now.
Can we pretend that Bluebook Citations are like shooting stars?
I could really use some sleep right now, sleep right now, sleep right now.

I could use a citation genius or a wish
to go back to a style much simpler than this.
Cuz after all the partying, studying, and reading
And all the highlighters and notes and the briefing

But that's just how the case unfolds,
Then it gets overturned and no longer holds,
And when that case unravels next chapter
You wasted your time because now it won't matter.

So read on, brief on, stay up late
Wake up, speed to class so you're not late;
And better use Bluebook to do those cites
Better start now, or be up all night.

Can we pretend that Bluebook Citations are like shooting stars?
I could really use some sleep right now, sleep right now, sleep right now.
Can we pretend that Bluebook Citations are like shooting stars?
I could really use some sleep right now, sleep right now, sleep right now.
